Our Initial Physiotherapy Consultation is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of your condition and create a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

During your appointment, your physiotherapist will take the time to discuss your concerns in detail, including your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and any factors that may be contributing to your pain or injury. This thorough conversation helps us understand not just your symptoms, but the underlying cause.

A comprehensive physical assessment will then be completed, which may include evaluating your posture, movement patterns, strength, flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and functional activities relevant to your condition.

Following the assessment, you'll receive hands on treatment tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your presentation, this may include manual therapy, dry needling, joint mobilisation, exercise prescription, education, and advice on pain management and injury prevention.

By the end of your consultation, you'll have a clear understanding of your diagnosis, the factors contributing to your condition, and a personalised treatment plan outlining the next steps to support your recovery and long term health.

Follow-Up Physiotherapy Consultation 30 minutes

Our Follow-Up Physiotherapy Consultation is designed for patients who have already completed an initial assessment and are continuing their rehabilitation journey.

Each session begins with a review of your progress since your previous appointment. Your physiotherapist will reassess your symptoms, monitor your recovery, evaluate your movement and function, and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan based on your goals and response to care.

Treatment is tailored to your individual needs and may include hands-on care, exercise progression, education, and strategies to support your recovery. As your condition improves, your rehabilitation program will be updated to help you restore function, prevent recurrence, and achieve your long-term health and activity goals.

Each session is focused on providing personalised, evidence based care to keep you moving towards a full recovery.

Extended Physiotherapy Consultation

$140.00

Our Extended Physiotherapy Consultation is designed for patients with more complex presentations or those requiring assessment and treatment of multiple injury sites.

With additional appointment time, your physiotherapist can conduct a comprehensive reassessment, address each area of concern thoroughly, and provide personalised treatment tailored to your needs. This allows for a more in depth approach to managing complex conditions, ensuring all contributing factors are considered.

These appointments are ideal for patients with multiple injuries, persistent or recurring pain, complex rehabilitation needs, or those who would benefit from additional time for assessment, treatment, education, and exercise progression.

‍ ‍Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Consultation

Health Care Card and Senior Card holders: $20 out of pocket per session

Non- card holders: $63.4 rebate deducted from the full consultation fee

‍ ‍Private health insurance

Clients can claim private health insurance rebates for our services if they are appropriately covered. Please check with your private health provider if you have cover for physiotherapy, and if so, how much.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please advise us of any cancellations as early as possible. If you are unable to attend an appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice of non-attendance, otherwise a fee will be charged. If your appointment is on a Monday, please cancel by midday on the previous Saturday as we do not open on Sundays. Cancellations outside of this period will be charged the full session fee unless we can fill the spot from our waitlist.
